TAMPA, Fla. — The Tampa Bay History Center is offering reduced-admission tickets Friday to celebrate the 4th of July.
Tickets will be reduced by $4 to encourage those downtown to visit the History Center as part of their day in downtown Tampa.
Billy Sommerville with the History Center says it takes one to two hours to see all the exhibits in the three-level building, a perfect amount of time to escape the potential rain on Thursday, and cool off in the AC.
“With this $4 off discount, we are hoping everyone plans their day on Friday to see the history center, stop by the Columbia cafe and then do all the activities around riverwalk and for Boom by the Bay at night,” said Sommerville.
Activities are planned throughout the day in and around downtown Tampa.
Boom by the Bay 2025 will encompass The Heights District Fourth of July Celebration at Armature Works, Star Spangled Sparkman Wharf and the Friends of the Tampa Riverwalk July 4th Boat Parade along the Hillsborough River.
The 4th of July Boat Parade runs from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
The Heights District will hold its 4th of July Celebration at Armature Works, and Sparkman Wharf is hosting the Star Spangled Sparkman Wharf.
Fireworks will cap the evening off, weather dependent.
