What started out as one individual preacher and activist battling injustice, has turned into a major organization tackling countless issues. Reverend Sharpton, Derek Perkinson and William Anthony Allen talk about the many programs offered by NAN, designed to help change the system from the inside and to bring young people into the organization. From weekly “Youth Huddles” to Legal Nights, where people who can’t afford attorneys find help to take on the legal system, NAN is preparing for the future. They talk about the issues that face this new generation of activists, and how they learn to fight injustice, their way.
