The Trusted Traveler Program was created as a means to speed you through security at the country’s airports, for a fee. Just not if you’re a New Yorker. The Trump administration has banned New York State from the Trusted Traveler Program, because, they say, the state’s “Green Light Law” allows undocumented immigrants to apply for driver’s licenses also prevents the feds from accessing DMV records. New York State is fighting back in the courts, adding this to the list of lawsuits filed against the administration.
