We are one step closer to choosing our next president. Texans cast their ballots, weighing in on who they want to take on President Trump in the race for the White House. By the end of the night on Super Tuesday, about one-third of all pledged delegates were doled out. The nominee will need to have a majority, or 1,991, of the pledged delegates at stake to nab the nomination come the convention this July in Wisconsin. Many say Texas with its 228 delegates, the second largest cache of delegates behind California, is key to where the 2020 presidential race goes from here.
