KENTUCKY — For nearly 60 years the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, also known as the NAACP has been in the forefront of civil rights activities in the United States.

NAACP in Kentucky is very active with branches all over the state, largest being in Louisville and Lexington. The Kentucky State Conference of NAACP continues today to fight against injustices and for the equality of all people.

Adrian Wallace is the Vice President of the organization’s Lexington chapter and serves as the Chairman for Kentucky’s NAACP, Political Action Committee and joins In Focus Kentucky to share his perspective on the topic of relations in the Commonwealth and gives an update on "2020 State of Black Kentucky."
