KENTUCKY — State Rep. Mark Hart (R, Pendleton County) introduced House Bill 169 during the 2020 General Assembly legislative session.

The bill relates to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

While the legislation did not make it out of committee, Hart joined In Focus Kentucky to share why he continues to remain a strong advocate of the cause to support legislation that positively affects Kentuckians living with disabilities.

"Some of them need some constant care throughout the day, depending on their level of disability need, needs people to help them and they believe, and I believe I agree with them. They should have a right to have a say who will be their health care provider," explained Hart.
