LEXINGTON, Ky. — The Lexington MLK Holiday Committee moved forward with its annual Holiday Freedom March this year and put in several new changes to accommodate participants.

During this In Focus Kentucky segment, co-chairs for the Freedom March in Kentucky’s second largest city, City Councilmember James Brown and Chester Grundy joined the program to discuss this year's event.

"This is an important day in our community. This year probably more than others in the past is an opportunity for us to come together. I think P.G. Peeples says it best, MLK Day - in Lexington is probably one of the most diverse inclusive days of the year for our city," adds Brown.
