A special spot in North Carolina carries the prayers of centuries of Gullah people.
Reaves Chapel A.M.E. was built just after the Civil War by freed slaves on a hill overlooking the Cape Fear River. It was moved inland to Navassa in 1911.
Today, it is undergoing a careful restoration so that it will be a place of celebration and prayer again.
