It is a new era of college athletics in the Lone Star State. Texas recently became the 19th state to pass landmark legislation allowing college athletes to profit off their name, image and likeness. In addition, NCAA governance bodies in all three divisions adopted a uniform interim policy suspending NCAA name, image and likeness rules for all incoming and current student-athletes in all sports.
