An overwhelming majority of Americans believe the U.S. is in the grips of a full-blown mental health crisis due to the pandemic, according to a new USA Today poll.
Researchers say about 4 out of 10 adults in the U.S. are reporting symptoms of anxiety or depression. That number is up from 1 in 10 prior to the pandemic.
Experts say people are also reporting difficultly sleeping and eating, and increased worry and stress over the pandemic. Dr. Ronnette Ballard joins us with some tips on how to cope during this phase of the pandemic.
