Faith Bautista, President and CEO of the National Asian American Coalition, joined “In Focus” Sunday to discuss the housing counseling, small business lending and other programs the HUD-approved, non-profit provides.

As the founder of the National Diversity Coalition, Bautista also talks about how the non-profit advocacy organization’s recent Asian Love town hall and how it’s providing greater financial equity for under-served communities.

She also her thoughts on how to combat hate and empower the Asian community.

Bautista discusses her Spectrum News 1 show “Owning A Piece of America” and how it specifically helps Asian immigrants. The program empowers Southern California immigrants by giving resources to the voiceless while embracing the complexity and diversity of their heritage.
