Harley Lippman, the Grand Marshall of this year’s Celebrate Israel parade, joins “In Focus” to kick off the festivities.

Since 1965, hundreds of thousands of people from the Jewish community from across the world have come together to march in the parade along Fifth Avenue.

After a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Lippman discusses the theme “Together Again” and explains the importance of being able to gather in person. The parade is all about showing love and support for the state of Israel.With more than 40,000 marchers and dozens of balloon floats, Lippman shares what to expect at the parade and some of the floats that you’ll be able to see.

Lippmann also talks about the Abraham Accords and how to protect members of the Jewish community on the streets of New York.
