KENTUCKY — We’re catching you up to speed on legislation that’s been filed during the fast-moving 2023 Kentucky General Assembly session.

In early February 2023, Republican and Democratic lawmakers in the state Senate are expected to begin discussions on approving changes to Kentucky's income tax.

The Kentucky House of Representatives passed House Bill 1 on Jan. 5. The bill codifies a reduction in the personal income tax to 4%, effective in 2024.
