KENTUCKY — This week we are getting you prepared and more informed about the upcoming May 16, 2023 primary election, where five of Kentucky’s six Constitutional offices will be on this year’s ballot, including State Treasurer.
Jonathan Miller was elected statewide twice and served as Kentucky State Treasurer from 1999 to 2007. And many would say that his signature accomplishment as Treasurer, was the establishment of Kentucky's Prepaid Tuition Program, which signed up more than 10,000 families.
After contemplating a run for Governor of Kentucky, Miller eventually drop out of the race and endorse the campaign of Steve Beshear. Later, Miller served as Secretary for the Kentucky Finance and Administration Cabinet in the Beshear administration from December 2007 to 2011.
