The Doe Fund is a nonprofit that helps provide work, housing, educational opportunities and other resources to people with histories of homelessness, incarceration and substance abuse.

Jennifer Mitchell and Laura Robinson with the organization talked about the ways it helps break the cycles of addiction and homelessness.

Robinson shared her personal experience getting help through The Doe Fund and how she overcame addiction. Now, she has permanent housing and a sponsor.

Mitchell explained the Ready, Willing, and Able program and how they've revamped it to include women.
