Queens Councilmember Lynn Schulman says, although she was not in the City Council in 2020, she still worked on COVID initiatives to help minimize the spread of variants.

Schulman emphasized the importance of getting vaccinated and described how misinformation can be dangerous for one’s health.

She discussed the lessons learned from the pandemic that will help the city prevent a similar situation from happening again.

Schulman also talked about how the city’s Department of Health is tackling data now that it’s separated from federal partners.
