Chief Technology Officer Matthew Fraser says there is a digital divide in the city — a divide between people who have access to computers/internet — and shared what can be done to bridge the gap.

He talked about a $2.4 million investment into a digital equity roadmap and said new initiatives are being implemented to add tech infrastructure and computer labs.

Fraser also discussed cybersecurity, including what graduates from the Cyber Academy have accomplished and what they will be doing for the city in the future.
