Rev. Paul Sladkus discussed his 23 years working on Earth Day events and said it’s a chance to focus on the positive changes humanity has made to protect our Earth.
This year’s lineup will include virtual appearances from people like Ringo Starr and Stevie Wonder.
Sladkus shared his hope for future generations making positive efforts to fight climate change, saying he sees young people care and partake in greener efforts to protect the environment.
He also commented on the 400th anniversary of New York City and mentioned how that’ll be incorporated into the event.
