Grace Rauh, executive director of the 5Boro Institute, discussed the controversy between transportation advocates and organizations like NYC-EVSA over Priscilla’s Law.
Rauh says it’s important to protect both pedestrians and cyclists on the street.
She called the city streets the “Wild West” with some e-bike riders and other cyclists not abiding by traffic laws and running red lights.
Rauh talked about the organization’s recent city-wide survey, called The Peoples Pulse, saying they discovered New Yorkers are most concerned about affordability and public safety.
