Queens Councilmember Robert Holden talked about the history of Priscilla’s Law and said he believes it’s important to hold e-vehicle riders accountable.

He says pedestrians are less safe because of bikers speeding and not abiding by traffic laws.

Holden commented on Andrew Cuomo’s ideas to hold delivery apps responsible for their workers’ lack of traffic safety.

He says e-bike fires have gone up due to certain lithium-ion batteries and discussed the dangers e-bikes can pose to a community.
