Department of Citywide Administrative Services Commissioner Louis Molina joined “In Focus” to explain what the agency does for the city.
The commissioner shared how the department manages the city’s energy, procurement industry, city’s contracting and the fleet vehicles.
He detailed how DCAS will benefit from the budget by opening up the eligibility for nonpublic schools to have security guard funding reimbursed.
Molina talked about the launch of E.P.I.C. high school equivalency program.
He also discussed the transition to clean energy in all the city’s vehicles in the fleet.
Commissioner Molina commented on the 14 Wall Street lease going to the Department for the Aging and what it will do for the agency.
