Alabama House of Representative Anthony Daniels is the state’s first black minority leader representing the state's District 53. In college, he pursued his passion for education, but after becoming an elementary school teacher in Huntsville, Daniels believed he could make much more of an impact on Alabama's education system if he went into government. As the state legislature gets ready to gavel in on March 5, Daniels describes his priorities for the new session.
