COVID-19 may have been the biggest story of 2020, but it wasn't the only one. The death of George Floyd at the hands of Minnesota police reverberated across the country and around the world. Record unemployment numbers led to long lines and soup kitchens and food pantries.  Hunger in the city was worse than ever. The 2020 Census became more important than any other.  And changes in how New York votes led to overwhelming numbers of voters, exposing a few weaknesses in the system.
