ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- Cheesy Eddie's has baked creamy desserts since 1976, and is expanding from South Avenue to a second location, at the Genesee Valley Regional Market on Jefferson Road in Henrietta.

Owner John Baker said it'll have a larger kitchen to better handle all the dessert orders. 

"This space is just way too small for our business and we actually kind of held off growing in certain areas because we knew we couldn't grow without hitting a barrier, so the space (in Henrietta) became available and we knew it would be perfect for what we want to do," Baker said.

Baker said the Henrietta location is scheduled to open next spring. Staff will be baking in the new kitchen there this fall.
