KENTUCKY — Some good news for those battling addiction in Kentucky.

During this year’s Kentucky General Assembly session, state legislators are hoping to pass a bill that would establish a new system to help those who want to recover from substance abuse.

House Bill 7 is sponsored by Rep. Adam Bowling, and the legislation would create a framework for communities across Kentucky to become “Recovery Ready,” bringing much needed consistency to local substance use prevention, treatment and recovery efforts.
